It's cool, whatever. I'm a guy who apparently wrote into a video game podcast about Latin pronunciation, and I can only blame myself if that puts me in a certain place in the world.

God almighty, I started catching up on episodes again recently and I just heard this today. When I heard my stupid name and realised my Latin nonsense was going to be read out, I got up and walked away from my computer. Edit: I'm not sure the guys appreciated that I was not serious when I called it "Nick Breckon's Skyrim". Little bit of snark there that's completely ridiculous since I was obviously not being serious. Ahem.

I know how it sounded, but I'm actually not from Dublin.

I need to eventually write something about the elements of the Irish language that have been absorbed into Hiberno-English and are used by people who know no actual Irish (the diminutive suffix -ín [een] is super-common in some dialects, for example).

Oh man, an "and in the game" reference! I don't even need the Rock Paper Shotcast to come back now.

It'd sure be neat if the Idle Thumbs Journal of Games was a real, regular, hefty thing. Thanks for reminding me of that dream with your lame Goldblum Fancier Monthly mock-up, fellas. I assume by making us "a part of it", our illustrious co-hosts mean to enslave us and build a vast games journalism empire on the backs of the common Thumb. This must not and will not stand; there will be revolution soon. Mark my words.

With Scoops having contributed to these Gamse of the Year, and Congrats Nick not pitching in, can we assume that Famous and Jake have founded Telltale Oregon and when Remo said he moved back to San Francisco, he meant Portland? That's the only possibility that makes sense to me, honestly.

Just finished Crackdown. There are no numbers to express how many times I had to fight Wang. Also, Saints Row 2. Although I'm not really sure the story counts for anything in that game. Still, a good way to make money I can spend on ever more insane character customisation. Roll on Saints Row 3. And do toss out the ridiculous gangster posturing. And maybe insert an accent more neutral than stereotypical Cockney, stereotypical Hispanic gangsta and stereotypical black gangsta. I should probably stop there. A game with a lot of little niggles.
