Just as long as /trout becomes a thing /rabble /rabble

Well, whatever. I'm just going to go ahead and keep calling interactive software entertainment artefacts video games, which so far has served me excellently in communicating with my peers. You keep on yelling at that cloud.

If anything the data only shows that this is a polarising issue, and the conversation shows that nobody's willing to change their particular defininition of 'game.' There's obviously plenty of people who disagree that calling Dear Esther a game makes the term 'game' too fuzzy. I'm not sure where you're intending to go from here.

As long as I have my loaves and fishes I'll be happy.

Cool. Poland is surprisingly easy as a vegetarian thanks to stuff like pierogy, very nice. Be sure to take a trip to Krakow as well while you're there, I love that place.

Downwell! Gun Boots! Treasure Collecting! Falling!
osmosisch replied to RubixsQube's topic in Video Gaming
You were very clear, I just enjoy having power level being part of the variety spectrum. -
Gosh, thanks. That's one of my favourite games of all time, lovely to see some of the background.

Totally disagree. Variety is the spice of fast-paced roguelike life. Game is awesome. It's good enough to make me get over my hatred of platforming briefly, a feat so far only managed by very few games. -
It can be.

So sad that one of Rekkles and Deft had to lose here though, I would have loved to see EDG test themselves against more teams as well.

Not so much with the social justice/progressiveness though.

Yeah the experience going from no-kid-haver to holding it in your arms is unbelievable. I still can look at this picture and feel it all click into place. Glad to hear everyone's enjoying their time with the freshly-squeezed humans. I look forward to reading your complaints once they turn ~2.5

Hearthstone: Because what Magic really needed was F2P mechanics
osmosisch replied to Problem Machine's topic in Video Gaming
I'll give them props for finding and nuking the problem card, but I agree that making it so shitty is a strange decision. -
I pop into it every so often but the floatiness and unresponsiveness is such a bummer every time it never keeps my interest for long. Ranged is OK but melee is just a nightmare.

I know I quit the Wu show and never looked back. I may have to relisten now that Justice Points is going away. I needs my SJWcast.

Metal Gear Solid V, at least I have yet to find a use for the bloody things.

I can provide counterpoint to this: I played a Link to the Past to death, and have never since enjoyed a Zelda game besides the gameboy one that was pretty much a remake. I think for me it's that ALttP so perfectly fills the need I have and had for that type of game that all the million follow-ups and knock-offs end up boring me. The fact that the Zelda universe's fiction is so generic and kind of dull (not to mention my inherent dislike of rescuing kidnapped ladies) made my interest in any Zelda games that did break the mold still not very appealing.

As a Dutch speaker, the switch to the new location was awesome. Didn't need no interpreter

For what it's worth, I was and am in a similar boat, and had a great time tagging along with the heavier players from this community for a while. The game can feel mro rewarding in short sessions in many ways because of the many per-day/week things that don't reward continuous play as much.
