I love it when the theatre is empty except for myself and maybe a few friends. Had that happen when I went to watch the Astro Boy movie back when it came out, definitely felt more relaxed than when watching a movie in a packed theatre.

Because I started listening so very recently (as in...oh, November, maybe? Possibly December.) everyone is on very even ground. In my mind, everyone is just "A Thumb". If someone asked me to match a name to a voice, I just wouldn't be able to do it. Listening to the podcast feels less like listening to several individuals, and more like one group with different focuses... I guess the best way to describe what I mean is like Deadpool in some comics, where he has the split personalities that all have their own voices, but its all still Deadpool, you know?

So for some bizarre reason consisting of a combination of being completely wiped out the day of and being stressed out afterwards, I kind of forgot that I bought "Deadpool: Wade Wilson's War" when I was at Ottawa ComicCon earlier this month. (Or last month now, I guess, technically.) Finally got around to reading it, and it was really entertaining. Nothing extremely groundbreaking or life changing, just a great thing to read to waste some time with a character I adore.

There's nothing wrong with doing it the way you are. In fact, in some ways you'll be exposed to things people using things like Unity might never have to deal with, and that learning can be very valuable. (Also, there's nothing wrong with Paint.net, and those assets need to be made somehow!)

I have started using Unity recently. I find it nice to have something that I can use to make a quick 3D environment with lighting and cameras and stuff, without dealing with a lot of 3D image code. (OpenGL and DirectX were the banes of my college existence.) As for 2D development, while a lot of people have recommended Flixel, I haven't used it so I really can't say anything one way or the other. However, I used to use GameMaker a lot during high school. It seems very simple and plain at first, but with some creativity it can be a powerful tool.

I dont really check Netflix stuff very often, is there a way to see which titles you've actually watched already?: Because that would probably be my ultimate downfall. Gotta Watch 'Em All! mentality would probably take over in me.

Well, from what I understand (and others on this forum might have a better understanding than I do, so if I'm incorrect please let me know) but I believe that in the case of a traditional publishing method, the publisher providing the funding is the one who ultimately has control over the game. If EA had said, "We'd really rather Brutal Legend has a talking dog as the main character" that is something that Double Fine would have had to discuss, and either convince them was a bad idea, or put it in the game, otherwise risking loss of funding and loss of publisher. (Also thats a very extreme example, and again based on what I understand)

So according to Steam I have 29 games. (Compared to you guys, I am a lightweight. But thats what happens with console gamers.) So let's see... Owned: 29 Played Decently: 16 Finished Storyline: 9 I have a real problem finishing the games I start. I get stuck and quit way too often.
