  1. I Had A Random Thought...

"The Faust and the Furious" - a movie in which Vin Diesel sells his soul to be the best racer around.
  2. Life

Brownies, man. (I also am kind of out of my element.)
  3. Nextbox 1080: The Reckoning

I know among my friends and I it is a real consideration when buying games. The chance to get back some money is a powerful force.
  4. Armikrog: Earthworm Neverhood 2?

This could be cool? I think? I loved Earthworm Jim (like every Genesis player on this planet), but the only thing I know about The Neverhood is that its sequel had .

  6. Weird Medical Shit

I have a scar on my knee from when I was in kindergarten. The whole class went on a walk (for some reason? I don't remember) and I was lagging behind, so I ran to catch up. It should be known that the sidewalks in the area were absolutely terrible, little more than large chunks of cement rubble lining the sides of the road. So I tripped, went down hard, scraped off the skin on both knees and elbows. Only one knee has a scar, lucky me. (Also I once hit my head on the side of a pool and had to have stitches, so for all I know there is a scar there, but its completely covered by my massive amounts of hair, I guess.)

I think there is still less variety than with alcohol. It's a bit closer to variety of beers or wines, as opposed to alcohol as a whole (wine, beer, vodka, rum, coolers... all very different beasts)
  8. Nextbox 1080: The Reckoning

I currently live in a house with 3 other gamers. We usually alternate who purchases a new release, and then everyone plays it. (Currently there are mass scheduling problems with who gets to play Fire Emblem: Awakening) That would make this a bit more difficult, because we each have our concoles set up with our own profiles and everything.
  9. Life

Yesterday (and this morning, I guess) I slept for 15 hours.
  10. Steam Trading Card

How appropriate, you fight like a cow.
  11. Steam Trading Card

I'm interested in trying to figure out what the mechanics of such a game would be like.
  12. Space

...I'm Canadian and I didn't know about this. What is my life.
  13. Dragon's Crown: Gaze past the giant witch tits

Excellent. Now, my big question: From the looks of it, it seems like some kind of RPG-ish action brawler type game. I can assume based on the characters that they will have different abilities and possibly play styles. So I want to know: How do you guys play games with different play styles? Do you go for the wizard? The long range bows/guns/what-have-you? Or do you like to grab the biggest sharp thing in the game and smack everything in sight with it? (I'm definitely of the latter persuasion, personally.)

I feel so young, and spry! I turn 23 in... 5 months or so.
  15. Life

Wow, lots of congratulations to give out today, it seems. Congratulations for businesses, for potential jobs, for finally getting money owed. Its such a happy day here. (Don't mind me, I haven't slept in over 24 hours and am feeling way too emotional right now.)
  16. Weird Medical Shit

I get the runny nose when I come inside from being out in the cold all the time. I've had employers ask if something was wrong, or if I was sick, because my nose would run horrendously when I came inside.
  17. Using modern technology to help you with games.

2 of the 3 people I am currently rooming with do, for example. (Also, I think Pokemon tournaments are still a thing? I guess? I have no idea.) I sometimes dislike playing games around min/max-y types. I just want to play Dark Cloud 2 in peace, without grinding to increase my gun! Me play slashy-slashy, no like shooty-shoot.
  18. Games with dogs (pets)

I had...I think it was Dogz 2, maybe? Fun times. I remember there was a frisbee you could grab and throw across the screen. ...I wasted way too much time throwing virtual frisbees, when I should have been throwing real ones.
  19. Using modern technology to help you with games.

Access to all of this data has kind of ruined Pokemon for me. I had a lot more fun before I knew things like EVs and capture rates and stuff. The exploration and apparent slight randomness made an interesting game experience that is forever soiled. Like when I started working at Subway and the romantic notion of personal sandwiches was forever dulled in my mind.
  20. I like all the discussions about the XBone going on lately, but I have to be totally honest... as a relatively poor man, I will be waiting at least a year after release and basing my decision on price almost as much as customer satisfaction.
  21. Life

Congratulations, I_smell. I'm sure your father can see how important this is for you. It might be hard to take at first, but eventually he will move on. Just make sure you try to keep in touch, even hearing from you will help, I'm sure.
  22. 5 Minute Mystery

Okay, now that I've actually solved a couple (100% correct so far, by the way), theres one other thing impressing me: The stat tracking. My lord, the stats. Seeing how many people got it right, how many people choose other options. Seeing a chart of how time spent vs points gained. Also, the highlighting for evidence is really neat. I am really enjoying this.
  23. Movie/TV recommendations

I've got several seasons of The IT Crowd on DVD, and I've seen a few episodes of Father Ted. Both shows are also fantastic. I haven't seen Spaced, however.
  24. 5 Minute Mystery

Oooh, this looks like fun! I remember having a book when I was a kid with 5 or 6 little mysteries in it, each one a short story and a couple of pictures accompanying it. It was very similar to this, in that you read the story and looked at the pictures and were supposed to figure out what really happened, with answers at the back of the book. This reminds me of that, and I love it.
  25. Movie/TV recommendations

So for the past few days I've been watching "Black Books", a British comedy starring Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey. It's one of the funniest TV shows I've watched in a long time. ...also, watched Star Trek: Into Darkness last night. It just kept going...
