They do reference actions taken in the previous fallout games, but only those that the player had to take. It gets messy quickly including a broad range of choices and incorporating those into the next game. For example I assume the canonical ending of fallout 3 is the player purifying the water of the capitol wasteland and not using the canister that president Eden gave you. Unless Bethesda does another Warp in the West.

Well we know its in Boston, that is something. I agree about the lack of story teasers, but if you look at the FO3 and NV trailers they dont touch on story in the first one. At least we got ingame footage which is more than many games do.

All the fallout games have that, the pre-war setting was pretty much 1950s culture with robots and lasers, that will never change unless they set the game in a different country (which would rock). Look at all those non-brown colors!!!!!!!!!!!

1) when fighting a large empire as a small state your options are minimal. Are you still a vassal of the Byzantines? If yes than I recommend trying to become independent and then offer fealty to either the muslim empire or the HRE. If you can't beat em, join em. Spain is a hard spot to play as a Muslim since you have to fight the tides of history, I suggest trying Egypt or North Africa. 2) I have over 800 hours in game and am still learning things. I hope not, I am already worried about what ESO means for the next elder scrolls game. I don't want to lose Fallout to WoW clone disease.

I always get excited for open world shooters since they are the only ones that do sniping correctly. I hope it isn't an HD remake of games that came out less than 10 years ago, but i don't think Bethesda has done any makeovers yet? As long as there is a big new world full of things for me to shoot and fun storylines to explore I will be happy.

Procedurally generated maps sound interesting, I do hope there will be controlled randomness in the generation so you don't end up with totally unbalanced maps. But it will add a lot to replayability.

It could be nice on planes. I am just sceptical of mobile gamings ability to really utilize VR well.

I think mobile games would have to get a lot better to make VR worth it. Not sure what VR brings to candy crush.

XCOM 2 announced. I really hope this will be a new game and not a repeat of Beyond Earth. Hopefully the insurgent mechanics it hints at will drastically change the game. Maybe there will even be a morality system (cause those are great). I am cautiously optimistic.

I just started The Animated Series. I didn't realise it was the whole TOS cast, i guess i assumed it had more changes. I do like the shorter episodes so far since the bad writers have less of a chance to pile up BS.
