My brother is Kickstarting a feature film called CENTS, about a very bright 12-year-old girl who recruits her frenemies and uses her gift for math to revamp the school penny drive and make major money. It's a clever story that also addresses complicated issues young students encounter today (bullying, gender stereotypes, etc.) Check it out:

I work in a Business school and teach in our Information Systems department. Programming, Networking, Database, etc. However, I also dabble in creative writing (NaNoWriMo for 9 years and counting), so I dip my toe into your world a bit as well.
Howdy, everyone. I've been a long-time listener of Idle Thumbs, but haven't visited the forums until recently. Like Caspar, I'm also a college professor. My gaming experience began in earnest back in 1980 when we received an Atari 400 computer for Christmas, and my neighbor and I began programming text adventures in Basic (in between bouts of Missile Command and Star Raiders). I look forward to participating on the forums more regularly in the future.
