Bag of Equines

Anyone have an opinion on this new Hype Train event? I was super into playing this game nightly but the bulk of recent DLC has sort of driven me away. I was at a point where I felt pretty sure of the nuances to each heist and was getting a ton of enjoyment out of helping new players. After 300 hours I had something like 95% of the cheesemints (achievements). I had also bought every DLC pack up to the Diamond. Now I just feel burned out, I have zero interest in playing a heist on Death Wish again.

Hey all, haven't posted here in a while. I'll join in on any heisting tomorrow (my 20th birthday as well!). 20:00 GMT is 14:00 pst (2:00 pm) I believe. I'm getting close to the last infamy tier and would enjoy showing people some interesting tactics. If we have more than four people we can split into two teams. Hey guys, I've been busy for the last few days with 3d modelling but I'm back now. I would love to play a few heists this week. Also, I'm up for using something other than in-game chat but I've never used Mumble. How does tomorrow evening around 4/5 pm pst sound?

There is not a way to make AI players pick up bags unfortunately. I find as long as there is good communication a full party is usually the best option. We had no problem finding four players on Monday so we should be fine. I'm up for playing tonight after I go on a run. If you all are getting a lobby together just message me on steam, I'll probably be 3d modelling so my status might say away or something, ignore that.

I was definitely logged in, not sure what the issue is though.

Oh, darn I totally forgot to mention I am not new to DayZ or Arma in the slightest. That was silly of me not to think to include that, sorry. I've played Arma 2 since launch and have all the DLC, Operation Arrowhead etc. I also bought Arma 3 at the early access launch and I've played the DayZ mod since its release as well. I really want to buy the standalone and I almost jumped on the summer sale price. For some reason I can't bring myself to buy it. Money is a little bit tight but I know I would get dozens, if not hundreds of hours out of DayZ. I'm not sure what it is, maybe I've been disappointed by early access too much because of unrealistic expectations (bought the Forrest at launch). I also don't have any real life friends with gaming PCs so I'll be going solo for a while unless anyone from here or in game teams up with me. I've even been looking up prices for getting a giant map of Chernarus printed and downloaded the 19000x19000 image of the map. I've also been watching all of the old DayZ Idle Thumbs streams I missed. There's just something holding me back from buying it.

Do any of you use HoxHUD? This will be of interest more to seasoned players but new players may be interested as well. It's a HUD modification that displays more valuable information on screen in a useful way. There are a ton of features and it is and highly customizable. If you're having trouble finding where to download it on that forum you need to join the group, then look at the discussions page and then click the download thread on the far right just below the subscription button. Again, I'll be on from now until later so if any of you want to do a few heists or learn how to do a few heists just message me on Steam.

I am totally up for helping a crew of new-ish players get a hang of things, if any of you want that. Playing solo or with bots to get practice before hopping into multiplayer is usually pretty miserable unless you're going for stealth. I'm going to finish some 3d modelling and other stuff but I should be available tonight after 5 pm pacific (8 eastern). Same goes for tomorrow if tonight doesn't work. If we happen to find enough players for two lobbies we could get a little friendly rivalry going. There must be at least 8 thumbs who are into Payday.

5PM Eastern/2PM Pacific to about 10PM Eastern/7PM Pacific works for me although I'm on summer break from college so anytime works really. I'm currently split between ghost and technician with a few points into the other trees. I'm fairly decent at stealth on most heists. Add me on Steam.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forums and would like your advice on the current price of DayZ. I'm an unemployed college student, that said I would very much like to get in on the DayZ fun. For someone without a lot of expendable income would you all advise jumping in on DayZ at $30?

I am a huge Payday 2 fan. I just joined the forums today but I have about 80 hours in Payday (level 83). I'm up for some heisting with anyone anytime. My steam ID is Bag of Horses.
