Man, they named that guy twice... how cool is that? -
Nerd fashion through the ages... is very consistant.

All nerds that look like that should be shot. In a related story, I was drafted to help a girl that lives under me (mmm) to hang her curtains the other day. She had a cratefull of crucifixes, not yet hung on the walls, and poster-sized picture frames full of people so ordinary that I could swear all of them went to my high schools. I hate ordinary people. -
This thread should be renamed to Until Psychonauts comes out, only nice things are to be said about Majesco.

If only it were a perspective! It is some sort of isometric bullshit that Giotto would never have made...

The Day of the Tentacle....

Think of it more as a table with check marks rather than a line item.

I can't honestly say that this is new information for me. I have heard it before, but I believe that I had mentally substituted No Smoking for Bjelo Dugme, just as I have done when talking with Deadworm. It all makes sense now.

Are you feeling busy, Jake? Are you?

As is this, like totally.

Maybe he writes for the Spirou? Which leads me to my next question: are Spirou and Fantasio gay, or do they just live together? You know, in sin? Until something fuckable with boobs comes along? Not enough of those were ever translated to Serbian. Seven or eight, max, plus about five or six Gaston LaGaffe books of short comics -- whereas all Asterixes and Lucky Lukes were. I've read only about three Tintins, wasn't all that impressed, but my mother is a fan since she grew up in a francophone environment.

You dould make a case for Morrowind explicitly not allowing you to burn books: you can use books as stepping stones through lava.

I think my whole antagonism towards this "street cred" jibba-jabba comes from being a Eurotrash honkey with a very, very underdeveloped tribe mentality.
-
I am very wary of the whole street cred tihng. I don't want to be a paragon of a wee gangster. I want to be a thug without worrying what other people think about me. Fuck the other people.

I don't know if I like the prospect, really... It was fun while it was all play and games and Mibotzu Monstrosity and the like. Actual cars are banal.

I bet Ron Gilbert will be happy to know that in some search querries his name will appear on the same page as Human Condom. I bet in a few passes of the Google Spider, googlism will say something like Ron Gilbert is human condom. And I have only helped that along.

You know what I've done? I have realized now that I see the name Nele Karajlic that I have confused the No Smoking Band with Bijelo Dugme -- or the White Button -- frontman of which is one Goran Bregovic who is the one who made music for most of Kusturica's movies... but here we see No Smoking and Kusturica in the same place... I really don't know what Kusturica and No Smoking have to do with each other... except that they are both quite insane... This whole Unza Unza thing is totally surreal. This means, Deadworm, that I take back whatever I said about No Smoking; it was directed towards Bijelo Dugme. No Smoking had a few decent songs, but I was never wowed by their presence or performance quite frankly...

You know, darling, I can only take so much crap per unit of time per person before I start biting and spewing bile.

I am not a big fan of either. Did my share of Warcraft 2, Starcraft and at least three incarnations of Heroes of Might and Magic. I don't hold one of those dear.

We ought to have more smileys like that horse!!

BG&E annoyed me less in that regard than TLJ.

It's been a while since a traditional adventure game managed to impress me. The Longest Journey is the last one that comes to mind, but even with it there was no wow to the third degree I experienced with Grim Fandango and DOTT and MI2:LR. It will be a while before a game impresses me as much as Beyond Good and Evil has a week ago. I mention BG&E because it has impressed me in all the categories usually reserved for adventure games of yore. I do feel a little queasy about... I just started playing NOLF 2 and the game has managed to make me care about the characters in the very first intro mission, primarily the evil Asian girl -- establishing meaningful relationship between the player and the characters being something up until recently unique to the adventure genre. As far as I am concerned, between BG&E and this could-be-a-gem, as far as I am concerned there is no gap left behind by the death of adventure games. Three cheers for Monolith. My samurai code of honour compels me to review this game to conclusively exculpate the culprits for the crimes against creative narration in the first incarnation of NOLF. And for the record, Cate Archer's new hairdo is the sexiest thing I have ever seen on a computer game character. :9~
