Actually, the game looks kinda fun...

Why aren't there more games such as this one? I mean, just as soon as all good ol' dos games are converted to Gamboy I can throw my computer away and just live in the wilderness with the little folded thing in my pocket...

I blame listening to spectrum tapes for my deafness... Those were the days, folks, when you could buy a magazine and inside you have the code for a game, you just had to copy it and compile it... Can you imagine a similar thing today? You'd get a yellow pages-worth of code to copy for a game like Doom3 and then wait a few days to compile - not to mention typing out the visual assets in addition...

Apropos New York being destroyed and how much fun that is: at the very beginning of the century, but before 911 there came out a slew of really horrible made-for-tv movies about destruction in NY. They all had names like: Volcanoes in NY! Meteors in NY! Floods in NY! Earthquake in NY! and they all featured landmarks falling apart.
