The Cave: Ron Gilbert's Double Fine Game (A Tim Schafer Production) (Not Double Fine Adventure)

Super Metroid without guns. -
(F)CKEr can be on the bloaty side of things. It has quirks and behaviors.

The editor is a heavily modded CKEditor. Hope that helps if there is no obvious in-board method for adding stuff to the Wizzy Wig. One more feedback: the need to be the first emoticons in the pallete. Also don't leave the angry tomater behind!

Oh, you know what would be neat? If pressing J or K while browsing the forums jumped to the next/prev post on the page. This forum doesn't seem to come with jQuery and I don't know if the bandwidth hit is worth the functionality... but maybe we can bake together a little something easy to swallow using Goog's closure compiler. Maybe there is a ready plugin that does this.

OMG HI! What have you been up to?

I love it when software has wacky glitchy behavior. The VLC (but not other players) in the Ubuntu TV box that sits in my living room will exhibit some sort of horrible short-circuity audio static with certain types of files—we've figured out that we can fix it if we click ahead in the timeline, and then scrub back to the beginning of the video. ??¿?!

I keep hearing good things about his essays.

Also, how do I join Phaedrus' Street Crew? I seem to be the only person here who is but a lowly Member.

I gotta say I am a bit miffed that I went from user #10 to user #5974-kingzjester. Obviously there is something seriously wrong with this software.

Sexy! Oh hey! The Nurse is back! The original crazy big emoticon.

Mein Thumbcraft—IdleT Dedicated Minecraft Server

Maybe instead of resetting we could move the spawn and start a new city somewhere far away. I am registering this opinion as moot, however, as I have only logged in once. -
Owning a house is not so bad. The house we bought is pretty rad but also quite old and has been fixed through the years by people who have no business fixing things, so there is quite a lot of horrible shitty bandaids that need to be reversed and refixed and the only problem is not having enough time to fix it myself while also working and having a life and drawing a Hobo Lobo. Also I guess money too up to a point, as I could conceivably hire someone to do it in my stead. Tho even if I could afford it, that would require a lot of time to manage, so poop.

The open source world seems to do quite well (by and large) with millions of cooks in the kitchen and one person to rule them all. I don't doubt they'll figure out what to do and what not to do. I just wish the forums were better behaved, like some sort of old person. -
This was taken prolly in 2008. I am a lot more bashful nowadays.

Wow. That article is almost ten years old. Insane! -

Too cartoony but not cartoony enough!  -
Yo, Hermie, why wouldn't she let you go to Brazil?
-
I kinda feel like if you figure out that you really, really want to be with her, everything else is details and logistics. Brazil is also a happening place and it might not be a bad idea to consider that as an option. You're young, you can make fresh connections anywhere you go at this point.

Oh man, I am a sucker for Sokoban-style puzzle games. I somehow kept missing this thread, but now I found it. Will have to grab this one.

You can put multiple cursors on the screen and edit text in multiple places at the same time. You can select multiple bits of text and edit at the same time. Pretty handy.

One day (when I have infinite time on my hands and nothing better to do) I would like to edit Twin Peaks down to a more coherent experience. Some of the Black Lodge stuff near the end and the wacky cliffhanger might be salvageable and made coherent—but most of the second half of second season (especially the insipid runaway love story) is throwaway nonsense. It might not end up requiring a lot of editing either... Maybe just a long cap episode to be watched instead of the last so many episodes. Naturally, this will be super illegal and I am looking forward to getting assassinated by some IP industrial complex paramilitary for even thinking about it.

This is true, but again I consider this Microsoft's problem. They're trying to break the internet by brute force, forgetting it is not the 90s any more and their fiat doesn't matter. I also try not to be the one making emails ever. I still do them way more often than I would like to. And for whatever reason the place I work errs on the side of designing unduly elaborate stuff at times (and the clients like it ridiculously complicated as well), so I have to regress into times past and nest tables like a primitive.

I put it there at some point myself. Through the power of the tag which for all I know is prolly a <font> tag. EDIT: Nope it's not! Woo! EDIT EDIT: But the tag totes is.
