Seriously, I haven't heard anything about this game other that I found it was going to be out in two weeks because of random amazon browsing (and not because I was informed by anyone until moose posted this thread and ragnar posted on his blog). It's obvious they can't sell this game to most "gamers" because they wouldn't be interested even if it had a chick in the cover (which it does), and they're the ones who dig for games. Just imagine that people who'd be interested in playing it... how the hell are they going to know this game exists? good luck to them.

Pretty interesting stuff. I'd like to quote the following sentences: Brings me back to my favorite genre to critisize: The adventure game. Most of these games did/do/will do that, took away too much player control and imagination, and they paid for it. On the other side, some of them had very good storylines and dialog that without elaborate graphics or "voice acting" was more memorable and emotional than The Godfather game (probably), and if you read one of the articles of the most recent The Escapist, then it assumes that those levels of production achieved adventure games (and most recently... psychonauts?) never existed. The twofold genre, I guess. And of course, there's the first 3 hours of final fantasy 9 as another example...

Though Family Guy is not as good as it used to be. But hey, long live Futurama! -
Dude, there's only one person I can think of, and that is, of course, me: Don't tell me that it's not the best. EVER.

What's the deal with Microsoft's "Project Origami"?
netmonkey replied to Marek's topic in Video Gaming
http://www.engadget.com/2006/03/09/hands-on-with-asus-and-founder-umpcs/ and http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/umpc/default.mspx Wow, only Microsoft could fuck it up so badly by letting random manufactures design the look and feel of the thing. Like some of the ones in the video actually looked pretty lighteight and cool compared to these. For other recent microsoft fuck ups, try searching for anything on http://www.live.com/ -
I'm currently writing an erotic novel about the many ways of pleasing many women, men, and saving the world with the power your thumbs. I've decided to release the first chapter of my novel free! My editor says that it's the best chapter so far, and it's definitely my favorite chapter. Download

John Williams annoys me these days. He did pretty good stuff in the 70's and 80's, but he's lost touch. I was glad that Gustavo Santaolalla won. I like his style. Now, crash? wtf. Also, I haven't seen any of the nominated best pictures. I need to go out more.

Back to the topic, here's another rumored photo. Maybe not really, but man, could it get any worse? -
Made by a YTMND fan, definitely. I think it's bullshit that you can't return games or movies. Movies is one thing I guess, and I understand why you really can't, but you should be able to return the game if you're completely disatisfied, specially a PSP game which is uncopyable (for most people). He should have gotten a DS.

dude! I just realized what it looks like... windows media player 7, remember that old piece of shit? http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/dnwmt/html/ads1.gif I think it's an interesting concept that obviously microsoft doesn't really know what to do with it because it's a R&D byproduct like the Xbox and the 360. It tries to look cool, but it doesn't quite do it. That's what happens when you're a follower and not a leader, like MS. I want to go to class, write notes down, and have my terrible handwriting turn into nicely formated 12-point Times New Roman. also, I want to feel like I'm writing on paper, not on some slick surface. is that too much to ask?
