God damnit Lacabra, that spaceship is friggin' excellent! Stop making cool things with UE4 making me want to try UE4.

I stopped poking the depths of #GG when, after confronting someone about the ridiculous notion that gaming websites somehow conspired to all write about "Death of the Gamer" at the same time, I got labelled a racist along with Twig. Five more people jumped onto the conversation from that point on, without any context, and started discussing how we "probably don't think black people use twitter. lol"
-
This is just.. beyond depressing. All of it.
-
Ah, gotcha!
-
That was this one Ben.

Vidya!

Hahahahaha!! Wow! Where are you getting this stuff?!
-
OMG! "Journalist has a partner, scandal ensues." "Full Disclosure: I am in a relationship." Jesus christ, this fucking circus of privacy invasion won't stop. The ride never ends, indeed...
-
Am I the only one who thinks that disclosure is ridiculous (and probably meant to be)? Is that what everyone wants tacked onto every article about indie game devs? "Full Disclosure: I met a person briefly at a pub during PAX"
-
Jesus fucking christ... "Seems Jonathan doesn’t have a problem with the sexualization of women / characters after all" with links to his pictures of... cosplay?! THAT'S SOME DAMNING EVIDENCE RIGHT THERE! Fuck these people..

Yeah, it seems to be a built-in function. http://twinery.org/wiki/function#visited_string_string It's either your typo (visitied).. ..or your missing a \ after the <<if>> and <<endif>> lines. Or both.. This should work: <<if visited("PassageName")>>\ You have visited 'PassageName' <<endif>>\

You Thief!!

It's the same guy, yeah..

Not surprisingly, YouTube comments disagree with us..
-
Yeah, I'm so happy they're focused on preservation, porting and modernising the renderer.
-
Yeeeah! And not surprisingly, considering this is just a remaster and they're not remaking the game, it will not be redone in widescreen. Music re-recorded with the Melborne Orchestra, though. Whoooo hoooo!
-
It's a lazy "she's not a real gamer!" argument based on the single fact that she at some point in time said she didn't identify as a fan of gaming, or something to that effect.

Nah, this isn't even the first Nintendo game with DLC, I think. I'm pretty sure Pikmin 3 had some DLC missions.
-
They do! I don't know what triggered the update (I just downloaded the Benz DLC and bought the two packs as a bundle), but the game now shows a "version 2.0" at the start and the four extra cups and extra characters show up, where selecting them brings up a purchase screen.

Edit: Also, if that smudboy guy shows up in your mentions, just ignore him. He believes that both Anita Sarkeesian and Global Warming are scams.
-
This is related to those charming gentlemen who run the Sarkeesian Effect patreon. Yesterday, I had a lengthy twitter conversation with a guy, who was searching for mentions of Sarkeesian Effect, defending the two men responsible for the patreon as the only truth. They were, supposedly, the one true voice in the chaos telling of how big of a fraud Anita Sarkeesian was, scamming people out of their money. Nearing the end of this conversation I posted my irrefutable evidence of who these Sarkeesian Effect guys really were. I love that he almost seems to take me seriously. On Zoe Quinn's game jam 'sabotage', that 'evidence' has multiple tweets just repeated over and over. What a joke. Is that really all you have to support this alleged 'sabotage'??

This DLC makes me very happy. They can just keep on pumping more of that shit out, thank you please.

(Full Disclosure: I backed the Idle Thumbs Kickstarter for $10, so anytime I post here note that I am biased. Towards Idle Thumbs.)

A Dedicated Thread For Talking About Star Trek Episodes
BigJKO replied to BigJKO's topic in Movies & Television
Holy shit, that's the prison leader guy from Battlestar Galactica! And Ellen! I really like the idea of a mockumentary, probably more than I'd like to see this as a full-length film.. -
I think this irrefutable evidence says it all.
