I hope there isn't a whole lot of "Oh, you're Lando's son?!" "Ah, this is Kenobi's child from that time he borked someone on Tantooine!" "Hey, isn't that Emperor Palpatine's brother?" But if there is a child of an old character I hope it's Daisy Ridley and she's Han and Leia's daughter and that this makes her the film's main character. I am actually quite excited about this film, but I am obviously just setting myself up for disappointment yet again.

Hearthstone: Because what Magic really needed was F2P mechanics

I got NO GOLD! Just whatever that substance is that's used for card-crafting.. I probably got more of that, I guess. -

I just had my second Arena run and got TWO WHOLE WINS! My first run I only had a single win, so this was pretty huge for me. The reward at the end was the same , though, which was pretty disappointing.. -
Yeah, it was pretty dull and unremarkable.. The only thing it had going for it was some ok chemistry between the leads.

WHAAAAAAAAT?! World.. crumbling.. before my eyes...

Alright, it was fun playing adventure mode with you the other night. Also.. sorry about that treasure puffin.. He was standing in the doorway between me and you guys.. I just thought it was Wrestlevania or something, so I was just walking past him until the text "BigJKO has engaged Treasure Elephant" popped up. SORRY!

It did add a bit of slowdowns on your iPad 2. Feature! -
Nooooo.. Oh, man.. I would be the saddest if the film didn't have The Society of the Crossed Keys

What did everyone think about the director of the episode's thoughts on the scene? It's weird that he describes it as "starts out without consent, but then becomes consensual" because that's not even close to how I saw the scene, even upon second viewing with that in mind.

I'm totally up for it, if I don't fall asleep!

Fair enough. I don't have any frame of reference to how this world really is. Except for the obnoxious Hooli CEO videos, those seemed like accurate parodies of the real-word equivalent? tabacco, I wasn't really sold on the pilot until halfway through. The start was slow and didn't get much laughs from me, but it picked up the pace during the latter half. BUT.. I wouldn't know if the latter half is just as insulting as the first, so maybe you're better off stopping where you did..

That's an awesome resource, Twig! I especially liked playing with the flocking missiles example.

Any specific reasons?

I've watched two eps of Silicon Valley and I'm totally sold on it. Love it!

He only wrote this film, for the record. Not that it still doesn't look pretty bland cinematography-wise. So far it's ok. I'm enjoying it. But vimeo's web player needs some serious work. It's choppy, sometimes it takes ages to load.. It's not good enough for paid content, I feel. I like the idea of film makers doing more of this, but I hope the means to get this to people improves..

Boss Whedon released his new movie right out of the blue on the inter webs, $5 to rent now: inyoureyesmovie.com EDIT: That's Joss Whedon.. Stupid autocorrect!

SgtWhistlebotom, that horse looks graceful! I am super excited about jumping around in your game. Berzee, that door falling over itself is hilarious. Did you try just making a simple animation for it instead of having it be a rigidbody physics object? So it's just a static collider you animate opening and closing?

Silicon Valley was pretty good. Not laugh out loud funny for the most, but that last half got much funnier and frantic. That doctor scene was a highlight. I'm very happy with the main cast, especially the lead and Gregory. It gets me in the same Mike Judge's films do, not just by being funny but also being kind of sweet.. I'm a softie!

Agreed! EDIT: Also, this looks amazing! I had no idea what it actually was from the trailer, which is still amazing looking, but looking at the Kickstarter page I can see it's a Digital Board Game that also just looks fantastic! Congrats! I'm totally backing this.
-
Oh man, that trailer was top notch! Some good ol' frame by frame animation going on! Loved it! Obviously, watching that trailer, what I am most excited about is the player inventory and stats UI.

Wait, what Spin Attack is this? There is a new boost gained from running into players while the Gravity thing is enabled, is that what you're talking about?
-
Yeah, I remember it from the old one, so I don't understand how I just never realised they were that different in the later ones.. :-/
-
Did we ever talk about why the spoiler tags went from being inline black bars (at some point they were, right??) to the 'click to see spoiler' way? I always preferred the blacked out lines thing. Am I in a minority regarding that?

I don't think I ever realised that there was a difference between the characters in later Mario Karts.. Or.. wait, yes. I did realise the heavier characters were heavy and therefore slightly slower. Is Toad super fast, then? THERE'S AN EXTRA LAYER OF DEPTH I HAVE NEVER NOTICED?!

Admit it Ben, you require it to be perfect!!
