EA screwed up, it wasn't an exclusive license, it was an official license. I have no idea how you can get the two mixed up. This is from the gamespot link posted earlier... [uPDATE] Since this story went live, EA has changed the artwork on its NHL 06 home page. The graphic now reads "official license" rather than "exclusive license" (check the above screenshot index for a comparison). Subsequent to the story going live, an EA spokesperson told GameSpot that the company does not have an exclusive licensing deal with the NHL. The NHL confirmed that an existing license with EA was in effect, but the NHL did not offer additional comments on the earlier use of the w{ord "exclusive" by EA.

Yeah, I'm really hoping that since EA is buying exclusive licenses for everything (couldn't someone sue them claiming that it's an illegal monopoly), companies are going to make games that use fictional leagues and allow them to take licenses with the rules of the sport to make the gameplay better. I know that midway is making that Blitz game and since they don't have an NFL license anymore, the game is allowed to be more violent and do stuff that the NFL wouldn't allow (like steroids)

I'm disappointed in the plot-o-matic, they're missing the biggest movie cliche of all time. A boring white person and a wise cracking black person who dislike eachother at first but learn to respect eachother's differences and become good friends over time.

I guess he forgot that you can also play as a cop as well and enforce the law. But since when has a politician ever known anything about the subject he/she was trying to legislate. I'm suprised that a politician is already trying to do something with this game though, usually they don't try to ban a game until it has sold millions of copies and has been out for two years. The game does look like crap though, so I'm not that annoyed by it, even though the government never knows what they're doing when it comes to anything video games.

Wes Craven would have been a better director though. Yeah, he's made a lot of crap but what has this guy made? The remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and a video for Faith No More. And this is Hollywood we're talking about, it's going to be a crappy action movie with Slipknot playing in the backround. I wish Hollywood would start being original again instead of making remakes, comic book movies, and video game movies. I think Christina Ricci would have been better for the role. She's already creepy looking without the make up and she's a better actress than Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Oh my god, they don't want to make that into an actual movie do they? And why was he carrying a baby the whole time during the shootout, was he trying to train him to be XTREME at a young age? Should I change my avatar, it's starting to scare me after only a few hours.

I don't see why they're so worried about someone stealing their stuff. It's not like anyone would want a game for the n-gage.

It's a western show where people swear a lot. And by a lot, I mean that all the dialog is just swear words.

I thought it was really awesome but I have one question... But aside from that, I thought it was really good. Christopher Nolan definately didn't pull boner of the year with this one sorry, but no one made any boner jokes yet Mark Hamill or Crispin Glover should play the joker in the next movie.

One time an employee at best buy asked me where to shelve a copy of the sims. I actually think Gamestop sucks more than EB Games, but apparently only in the city I live in. The people at gamestop try to be extreme and read egm while some of the people at EB Games are ok (some of the people at eb games still suck though). And at least EB Games doesn't try to sell you a ton of extra stuff every time you try to get something from them. Funcoland tried to sell you a cleaning kit every time you went there.
