Do you have a bios speaker? If so take out all the memory, if it beeps then it is likely the memory, if not it's likely the motherboard. Some of the Asus boards to need to be flashed to support piledriver or bulldozer depending on their batch. I'd bet on the motherboard though. Also reseat the processor.

Thisa game is so fucking good, it might be the best halo game there is. 343 have make up for the appalling multiplayer of Reach by making 4 so good, while there are issues relating to using a domestic host the hit recognition is generally great. The only problem is that the initial maps are pretty crap, only Haven and Adrift are good. But the new forge is pretty great. Slayer pro has been great to play. This is my favourite game of the year and I haven't really touched the single player.

Yeah they can fail, but the failure rate is dreadful OCZ, Mushkin and Corsair are among the worst.

CPU: 3570K is pretty great value. Motherboard: Z77 Asus, any is fine, the more you spend the more features you get. Ram: Corsair, Geil, G-Skill are all good bets. GET AN SSD (Samsung, Intel or Crucial only).

Actually it does. Once you have each mineral patch occupied by one worker you want to rally to specific patches. This is minute but it affects the game. They made it worse for plenty of players with 1.5 and are making the game even less appealing to BW elitists.
