Nope, if you get a perfect split then the auto mine fucks it up.
-
I'd kind of agree, with auto mine being added to HotS, which completely messes up if you do a perfect split, along with the circumference of a scan. I'm kind of surprised the tiny red nuke dot isn't the size of the Sun.

I've been recently been more involved with E-Sports, both on the back end and talking with players. There should be more cool stuff coming! I've been doing some interviews for Team Dignitas with StarCraft personalities. My first is up with the Team Liquid caster and moderator with an iron fist! http://www.team-dign...History-Lesson/

Even for a London pub those prices are extortionate, especially with a weak German menu .

BULLSHIT!! https://twitter.com/ChicagoBarcraft Barcrafts are great fun! EDIT: There is also a *small* movement for pubstomp (Lords Managements) that is gaining a little traction.

That's not good beer, average at best. If you want a beer which has some characteristics or scotch go find some Paradox Jura, if you can get it on keg that's even better. Do not drink too much as you will get intoxicated very quickly.

From what I've heard they are back at release.

Iron sights are actually something I think needs to go away mostly, other than a few outliers I think they slow games down too much. I come from the UT Halo school so there's that.

ACE! What days are good, after tomorrow I have 10 days off so can do almost any time!

I'd mostly agree other than the part I have bolded, which seems discontinuous to me, surely that passion goes hand in hand with the advancement. Pony's argument can be thrown out fairly easily, but Sean should not feel guilty for playing. I've recently been making more steps into the world of e-sports myself, while I'm not playing I am doing a lot of the other steps such as running online tournaments. Meaning I need to make sure players are ok between matches, I understand frustration that a loss can lead to, which means I need to compensate passing information to casters regarding this. It isn't as worthwhile as a doctors work, but I love it, and that's fine.

On the NA ladder you get a LOT of one base play, if you can get down a second quick enough and hold the early aggression then you basically have the win.
-
The leagues are tougher atm, as there are less players. when are you expanding? I'd pick one build which you like and do it again and again until you are super confident with it. With the current balance Zerg is really safe to expand before anything else.
-
Race? what are you having issues against?

The ones I'm doing are all friendly ones where everyone is welcome.

I could see that Jinro had worked too hard towards the game. He had clearly been suffering due to all he has poured into the game. The same way that Day9 had when he recently had a month off. I sincerely hope that Jinro will return one day, however unlikely this is. I currently think that the most interesting players to watch are Grubby, Moon and Select. All three were WarCraft 3 players, Select also a DoW player. Taeja is also really exciting, he has been tearing tounaments apart recently winning Assembly and MLG. The upcoming MLG championship is going to be excellent to watch!

One of my favourite players has just retired, a guy known as Jinro, the guy who inspired me to stick with Terran, when I was thinking more and more of going to Protoss. He was the most accomplished western player and still is, the only foreigner to reach GSL round of 4, not just once, but twice. He's been in a bit of a slump for over a year. So while it's not a surprise that he is quitting the fact that one of the biggest names just wasn't enjoying the game. I really don't know how I feel about this, but Walsh wrote why he was leaving, I would suggest that anyone read it: http://www.teamliqui...topic_id=358724

The Idle Thumbs Lords Management Consortium - Dota 2, LoL, other Lords Managers unite
Patters replied to Sean's topic in Multiplayer Networking
You seriously think that? Sure execution is important but take the current balance, then strategy is a lot more important than execution, particularly vs Zerg. The game is more about knowledge than BW was, where there definitely were optimal builds. Zerg at the moment don't need much execution to beat a much stronger player, simply because it is so hard to scout a zerg since the buff. SC II is a game about knowledge, reaction and action. Sure you could say that these are all execution, but then surely so is Dota, LoL, CS, Quake, and any other game that doesn't play itself for you (Hi Total War). AN MMM force really struggles against a decent HT Storm play, hence reaction, but you cannot react without knowledge. I take particular issue with: "list-of-things-you-must-do" So take Terran, I guess you need to make a supply depot, barracks and SCVs, That's all you really need to do, I don't need to build one marine, I don't need a factory, I don't need a ghost academy, I don't need an expansion, I don't need an engineering bay. If I don't take one of these choices then I'll likely lose. Again it's not even the order which you perform tasks, I can Refinery, Rax or CC first. This makes it sound like SC II is a static game and that ever game is the same, there is only one build that is viable, which is straight up wrong. -

Ok I can tell you understand fuck all about StarCraft II. If you seriously think that SC II is only about execution then you need to go watch some GSL, There is not ONE build for any race, there are a lot, sure some are not great, but you have greedy, safe and aggressive builds. -
http://vip.aersia.net/vip.swf You can thank me later! EDIT: OHSHIT that auto plays. I'm not sorry.

I'd agree, particularly as the Korean teams such as IM, MVP, Startale and CJ FUCKING ENTUS chose LoL.
