Never played Xcom, but have heard of the pedigree. The logo branding and description on their site is pretty killer though; absolutely captured my attention. Since it's been a rumor since Bioshock 1; whos to say Levine never had a first draft at the design?

Not overly hilarious, but the fact I didn't even blink when I saw this as a real title is kind of funny: Sid Meier's Jazz Train

HoN Literally the worst experience online I ever had and I grew up at the birth of the internet during the 90s. Never have I see such vile people and built in game options to completely destroy someone new. The original thumbs mentioned it and pretty much had the same experience. I didn't even give the keys they sent out to me to anyone and because of it, I consider myself a hero.

Maybe he will decide to make a complete mockery out of it like he did with Starship Troopers. While I tip my hat to the pure balls on him for doing it, I'd probably kick him in the head for putting that personal mark on that franchise thus ruining a real chance for true to source movie to ever be made.

Neat: Secret of the Pony from Hell Samba de STD Preacher Britney Spears' Yeti - Hot Pursuit Transvestite Castlevania Pinball A wizard came up, but it wasn't that interesting. edit: There's got to be a way to use something like this to generate those IGN quotes.

Sorry what? Was there a third option I missed? It's been awhile so I don't remember how the situation went down, but Playboy died, but Dwayne kept moping around.

ah,that would be funny then.

That sort of usually happens in any company in any situation, so it wouldn't mean much, unless they all, in unison, got up and left one day.

Dungeon Keeper 2 Sims 1 (yeah, I think it's fun to jerk around in it) Populous (I still play this today) Sim City * (Which version is the best? I dunno honestly, I never got into 4 because it had the same problem as the sims where you needed to create neighbours to do well; personally I still like 1) Jedi Outcast (One of the best sword dueling games I can think of)

It was like a first gen Unreal 3, probably even pre-GoW(since I think they mentioned they made so many changes I have to imagine they never upgraded when epic gave devs the good version after gow1 was released) May have something to do with it. Try GoW1 to see if it runs like crap too maybe?

Nah, it's just I had kind have this hope he'd move on in some way; either accept the criminal life style or find something else to give him happiness. Have a sad sack of shit as friend in a video game that you couldn't help get out of his rut was just sad to me; I'd probably would have rather had the annoying douche around.

To be fair, Honestly I really love Niko, and I know this isn't really Rockstar's style but thought it would be awesome to continue him as the main character or a character in this generation of games. So if we do have GTA4: San Andreas, Vice City or whatever it's a Niko story.

Might be a little confused by this; one person can pay and let friends into it or do you mean get friends into so they pay as well? Maybe I just don't understand or am familiar with the payment system, but its like 10 credits to join a game, 20 to start, and 50 to host(not sure what this means) but basically 20 bucks gets me into 20 games, but being unfamiliar with the system not sure how long this would last, and something about paying 20 bucks for an indefinite amount of play time just leaves me personally unsettled. Again unfamiliar with the pay as you go systems, which is why I'm not a subscriber to xbox gold, mmos, or anything else other then my basic internet connection. -
I've gone back to start Gta4 again and was acutally kind of surprised to feel all the little changes Lost and the Damned made. So yeah, the motorcycles are a lot better, the little additions to gameplay and a few changes on the render/post fx and character creation(how they make their models) were all for the better in Lost. Lost is a really interesting story with a lot of great characters, but I kind of came off of it wanting it to be it's own full length GTA, which is why I haven't picked up Gay Tony; as it stands Lost and the Damned was awesome, but I wanted more time with it. Agreed about Nicos shift, I mean I love the start of GTA4(Since I've picked it up again) trying not to go all out kill and steal cards, the whole immigrant trying to make it would make an awesome full game. But there is a definite shift between that and the GTA we know, it isn't so much a slow progression, you kill one person and then its full out rampant hitman for hire there on out. Even if the cut scenes and dialog tell a different story; which I guess is the disconnect Chris was always mentioning.

Good thread idea, can't help on this one but figured I'd put up my own. I remember getting a demo disk of games with either windows 95 or 98, it featured a 3d menu where you'd walk around and go up to the picture of the game you wanted to play to play/install it. It featured Mechwarrior 2 and other stuff. Anyway, there was this puzzle game that consisted of a 3d grid plane with colours and you rolled this coloured cube around to match what was on the floor then I think the the floor panel was removed when you did that. It had an awesome sound track too. No idea what it was though, but it was a lot of fun. edit: Actually maybe I can help; it'd be odd there was two games with a reindeer in the shower: http://www.justadventure.com/reviews/Spud/Spud_Review.shtm

Now I'm just disappointed that he doesn't have the Mcnulty picture stuck to his face... stupid internet screwing up my perception of people. Ok, so I'm in Neptunes Pride and this seems to be something I like, but the payment plan sounds really sketchy to me I think I'll stick with my free game and be done with it. If it was something I could pay for once and play I'd most likely do it, I'd also have liked to get a thumbs galaxy made since I have a suspicion other people here would have played, but the whole arcade style pumping quarters idea just doesn't sit well for me. -
