Maybe it's a dynamic difficulty adjusment thing that Patters does to enhance your gaming experience? BTW, I noticed there's something wrong with shaders in level 5. I was only getting 15 FPS, but then I dropped my shader settings a notch and got a solid 60.

Valve games always tend to impress me with their stat tracking. I wonder if it puts your team killing score on a leaderboard, because that would be pretty cool.

I wish I saw this post earlier, since they deleted most of his movies on that site. What a shame, I would've atleast watched Stalker.

That analyzer is clearly broken: "I write like William Shakespeare".

The Idle Thumbs Podcast Episode 9: Rolling With the Pope
Asembo replied to Jake's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
I'm liking it so far, but I hope Chris was joking when he implied that PAX panel episode would be the last episode. I need my Idle Thumbs fill every now and then . -
Please don't encourage them, that is something they actually might do. Don't forget that DA was finished in early '09, so they could have been working on a sequel before Dragon Age came out. Anyway, Dragon Age was one of my favourite games of last year, so I'm really excited for Dragon Age 2.

Good times, those game modes were really chaotic. Sorry if I was too quiet, it was pretty late and I was tired.

Finished Zeno Clash yesterday and it was really good. I loved the game looks, especially those hand drawn skyboxes. They also made a good job making most of the characters look really disgusting or weird. Melee combat felt really smooth, but I didn't really learn to block or dodge, for me it was always easier to just take a few steps back. I'm afraid that I'll get destroyed in survival missions, because I didn't bother to learn blocking. Overall, it was really good. It was definetly a shorter game (Took me 3-4 hours to finish) and voice-acting was weak, but other than that it was really enjoyable.

I would love to play Killing Floor, if you're still looking for players.

Well I didn't hate it story wise or anything like that, I just thought that most of the late game missions were pretty repetitive. Sorry if my opinion is invalid, do not listen to me in that case.

Finished Red Dead Redemption (Finally!) and Sam & Max Season 2 yesterday, I recommend both. Red Dead was pretty good, though I kinda had to force myself to finish the third act. Epilogue stuff was even worse, those caddle missions were really tedious.

Hi everybody! I've been listening to Idle Thumbs for a while now and finally decided to register.
