Finished Barnes' new book earlier today, Levels of Life. Similarly short as Sense, but more beautifully written and affecting in my opinion. I picked up the UK edition, not sure whether it's out in the US yet. Anyone else read it?

I succumbed and downloaded X. Wow is it a joke to control the character. Why bother with diagonal movement? Game looks and otherwise plays great so far, admittedly less than an hour in.

Yeah, Steamworld Dig is fantastic. More people really ought to pick it up. Soooooooooo fun making your little cave and making sure you have shafts to get back up and all that. Really beautifully done game.Also, I turn off 3D all the time. I really liked playing with it on at first, but my eyes freaked out when I went back to read on my iPad and the text started moving.. I can appreciate what Nintendo did including it, but eh they should have waited till the technology improved because it definitely isn't there yet.

Steamworld Dig just released on the eShop is FANTASTIC. Really really fantastic! Highly recommend you kids check it out.
