What specifically is taking your time on 3DS? I'm having trouble finding more beyond AC and FE to draw me in.
-
I'm thinking of getting a 3DXL, mainly on the strength of Animal Crossing and perhaps Fire Emblem. Hmmmmmm, still a bit unsure about it but does seem like it could be a fun pickup.

Yeah, it's quite different from Sense in that its (partially) a memoir. The blurb on the book says it best: "Julian Barnes's new book is about ballooning, photography, love and grief; about putting two things, and two people, together, and about tearing them apart." Wonder whether the US release will have Barnes' or Barnes's, hah!

Slick first try Nappi! My only crticisism is I think the colors are a bit too dark.

That solar eclipse is awe inspiring. Fantastic shot.

The flag counter and view counter are pretty fantastic. Brings back memories- what a funny place the Internet is.

I picked up Ridiculous Fishing and am playing on my ipad mini. Works great with this form factor! Absolutely a fun game, well worth the cash.

It's fantastic. Quite the mind trip, especially as there is a Year Walk Companion app that you really need to get the full experience of the game. Download both but don't worry about which you read or play first. Just jump in and try to figure things out. Shouldn't take but an hourn or two or three but it's worth the ride.

Hmmm, I take it as the historical British English arrogant/ignorant tendency to pronounce everything according to the rules of English pronunciation. Think Juan in Byron's Don Juan being rhymed against 'true one' (so roughly pronounced as 'Jew-One' instead of 'wan') in the poem. There are a lot more examples in that work, as well as others from the same period. Call me a romantic, but I always saw it as the arrogance of an Imperialistic, hubristic and insular culture. -
Well, I live in Japan and try not to use my US CC's so I was just going to wait until I go home for Christmas to pick it up. No sure whether that fits the bill or not, but 100% honest!

I was going to ask the same thing!

I liked this re-telling: I guess it was Ryan Davis from GiantBomb who put it together. John Walker's piece was really good at nailing the silliness of the whole thing.

For the love of all that is holy, what headphones do you guys use in your office?!
-
Is Alan Wake worth a pick up?
-
Hiya! What headphones are the thumbs using in their new office computer? I noticed Jake wearing them in the Mincecraft Twitch TV cast.. Anyone else have any recommendations for gaming headphones?
-
I'm more interested than headphones than headsets, but still interesting to look into. The G4ME and the HD 555's look like Big Ass Headphones, is that a fair assessment? Whatever Jake had on didn't look quite so large, but my sense of scale might be off.

Idle Thumbs Progresscast #12: The Progresscast Within

Living in northern Japan I have a similar feeling driving through the rice fields (now is rice planing season, the fields are flooded and you can see the sky, trees, houses all reflected in the pools) and seeing the distant snow capped mountains (right out of Skyrim! I swear I've seen dragons off in the distance) while driving to work. I think the emotions/feelings are definitely the same, even if they come from different inspirations.
