Yeah, it defaulted to having that on... Trust me, I've got EVERYTHING on low! And it still chugs, especially in the Cathedral with those tight hallways and heaps (relatively speaking) of monsters. Alas, I think you might be right. Must be better to hold off... But man oh man I got really excited walking around by the graveyard where it was running smoothly with all the wide open spaces and I found a rare dagger! A rare dagger!! Damn it, I need a new computer.

Well, it runs but not well. I have to use 800x600 with everything on low. Framerate is passable, but the text is a bit blurry and small. Despite all that I might actually end up buying the full game and playing because damn it it's Diablo 3! So many nice memories flooded back while playing and clicking and listening to the music! Remember the little brat Wirt? Man, I really loved the original. And 2... I really need to get a new computer.

According to The Bliz they are in all boxed copies of Diablo 3, not sure where though! Maybe as a insert or in the manual? I think the regular edition gets two while the CE gets three.

Any Thumbs have a US guest pass to donate? I want to see how it runs on my MacBook before I lay down the $. Even planning on installing Windows 7 to see if it will run better!

In AC: Brotherhood (presumably also in Revelations, but I haven't played it yet) you could rescue both men and women and make them part of your assassin team. The first person I rescued was some slick girl who I ended up sending throughout europe kicking ass and taking names in my great name. They all could become full time assassins, but I guess having a female lead the assassins during these particular eras is more the problem than simply having a female assassin.

Picked it up today and played for a bit. This game is so disturbing- I love it! I hope there is a satisfying ending and questions are answered, but ah what a journey so far. That damn spider... Shit, this game is insane. This and Flower just bring emotional experiences in gaming to a whole new level. I think I feel genuine dread when I am going through this game now... Wow, it's so fucked up.

July 19 on US PSN store, 20th on EU PSN store and August 2 (I think it was) on Steam. Woo!

Hot Pursuit is made by the same team, Criterion, as the Burnout games and they released Hot Pursuit after Paradise. I second that Paradise is one of my favorite games ever. Going through it again after picking up a PS3 a few months back and planning on picking up Hot Pursuit later this month. Also would be happy to play online if you can catch me (I'm in Japan so the time difference might make this not happen ): colinp101.

Thanks for taking the time to put them back up Jake! I live in Iwate, Japan which is one of the prefectures whose coast was devastated by the quake in March. I am sufficiently inland but there is a trauma that I think all of us are still dealing with whether we were inland or not. Didn't mean to make this such a personal post, just wanted to express my appreciation and that you are doing this for a very good cause, even if you don't realize it.
