Jake Posted November 14, 2016 Idle Weekend November 14, 2016: Even the Advocates We recorded this weekend's episode before the election, so there is little talk of presidential politics and despair this time around. But we do talk about games that we really love, and want to advocate for. It's a healing salve for things that ail us on this dreary week. Discussed: Even the Ocean, Grey Goo, Ruse, Presumed Innocent, Mass Effect 2, Westworld, Witcher3, Skyrim, Stardew Valley, Chrono Trigger, Dance Central, World of Warcraft, Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective, Overwatch Listen on the Episode Page Listen on Soundcloud Listen in iTunes

robotslave Posted November 14, 2016 So if this was recorded before the election, is Monday the new publication day for Idle Weekend? Seems a little odd...
OliverZ Posted November 18, 2016 Hi Danielle & Rob. I have become a loyal listener of your podcast (started with Terminal 7, then 3MA, then Idle Thumbs) and really value a female voice in games journalism. For Danielle, I recall you talking about a genius ex who became a doctor at a young age; have you read Dan Brown's Inferno or seen the new movie of the same name? I think that Dan Brown is the best of Junk food Pop Fiction.
murdocj Posted November 19, 2016 This doesn't have anything to do with the episode, but I'm casting about for games for blind people. My girlfriend's daughter is a college-age blind person, and I was wondering if there were any computer games that would be fun for her. I was thinking that card games like Hearthstone might be reasonable if they have a usable interface, since it doesn't require reaction time (as far as I know). Anyway, if anyone has any pointers I'd appreciate it.

I imagine you could make interactive fiction games like 80 Days or board game ports and other strategy games work with it.
