Grow a pair of balls. Were you embarrased to play Katamari Damacy? How about Beyond Good and Evil? No, no, fuck gameplay, I need a game starring Rock Hardchest as he destroys hoards of zombie robot nazis.

jeez! It's zombie robot nazi communists! when will you people learn! one day it will be too late!

Again, you're fucking wrong. You totally missed my point and you obviously have no idea of my interests or what I'm going on about.

You're telling me to grow some balls for a game that's trying to be ballsy, compared to games that are way more ideal and honest in their style and presentation. And then you tell me that I would probably not be embarassed to play a real fake-ballsy game, which I'm assuming is along the stupid lines of Max Payne.

Why don't you stop contradicting yourself in your attack, you spoon-fed cunt, and make some fucking sense. You don't even know who I am to assume what my personality says and doesn't say beyond the message I wrote. So concentrate on that, you dipshit, and pull your father's dick out of your ass before you get pregnant with his stupidity.

ahh good old school temperament.....

Mmmm, that sounds familiar.

Anyway, I haven't had the chance to play Zelda or not long enough to remember it well so I wondered : is Link a character with his own personnality [i.e. Jade in BGE, Raz in Psychonauts] or is he a blank character you 'fill in' (don't know if this expression exists)?

I've never really thought that Link is a particularly well developed character, which certainly isn't helped by the fact that the dialogue is always text based, and so he isn't given a chance to vocally establish any kind of footing.

So, the latter.

This is an easy one: Link doesn't even TALK himself. He's the quintessential fill-in hero, meant to appease all cultures and people.

Artstyle: I don't think that it looks all that much like anime, looks more like well... Zelda, similar to The Adventures of Link. I still kinda miss The Wind Waker style, but I don't want that style to stay in future Zelda's because it'll lose its charm and the series needs to change on each Triforce related story.

The absence of voice acting: I enjoy reading, that way I'm not costantly complaining about inapt voices and umatched lip-sync (Final Fantasy X comes to mind).

Dialogue: Majora's Mask and The Wind Waker had some of the best dialogue I've ever read, so I don't understand the complaint (if there was one).

Anime: No sir, I don't like it much (except for Ghibli, but I always thought it was more of an alternative style of anime)

Beddle: Shame on anyone who says anything bad about Beddle, he's twice the merchant you'll ever be!

IGN posted tons of new movies, TONS!

Well... that was unexpected.

Back to Zelda, those demos made me want the game more than ever before (though, my hype wasn't all that high before). The Forest Dungeon looked amazing and the in-game animation was just some of the best I've seen. I was also surprised with some of the changes in the menu, interface, and battle system (the parry system looks quite nice and simple).

"We want to surpass Ocarina of Time." Big talk from Aonuma, but every developer can surpass what they created and with Nintendo it's probably more than just hyping it.

The very fact that a thread completely devoid of Kingzjester still garnered him a vitriolic mention in that rant must've put a smile on his face.

Anyway, new Zelda...

Bizarre Pixie on Wolf's back

"Photoreal" :shifty: graphics :tmeh:

Theres nothing photoreal about it, they are extremely stylized. Aparently, so stylized that they piss certain people off.

I never made anyone quit the internet before. This is going on my resume.

Yeah, the new trailer starts to show that it's more than just some LOTR ripoff... Ron Gilbert was wrong!!111 It's pretty stylized...

Again, that cat thing! (pixie?) I'm waiting for EA or any other big American company to add an awesome anthropomorphic cat to their games.

I guess he felt not appreciated in the way he needed to be appreciated. So I guess he's better off somewhere else, where he feels more apreciated to his own liking... :deranged:

The first weird wolf-riding gnome fanart is made!

Poor Beddle... poor Beddle.

Anyway, because I want this thread to be about Zelda and not synthetacialdjhsjks (have a pronounceable name, well you!) here's some more details (stolen from IGN).

-Worldwide release at the end of 2005 (Zelda tends to get delayed, so let's hope it'll make the deadline).

-Wolf-Link's side-kick is called Midna.

-There are two realms in the game: Light Realm, Twilight Realm (but we already knew that).

-Link turn to a wolf only in the Twilight Realm, and it has nothing to do with a full moon.

-Link can interact with various animals (again, we knew).

-There are probably numerous ways of traveling, and not just by walking, horse riding, and teleportation by a musical instrument.

-It's gonna be harder than The Wind Waker.

Anyway, Just read this Eiji Aonuma interview: http://cube.ign.com/articles/616/616559p1.html

IGN: Is there an animal that you can fly?

Eiji Aonuma: You might be able to [laughs].

I always thought that'd be a good addition to zelda game. cool.
