So far, I've had fun with this one, but it lacks some of the elements that I liked in the first one.

The gameplay itself is good, I just think it'd take less time to write what I don't like rather than what I do. (probably more later)

1. The "grab" function sucks. Last time when you went to jump on a box, Sora would pull himself up. (In fact, it was almost too hard to get him to NOT do it.) This time around, it doesn't work well, and you have to jump at ledges multiple times.

2. *Spoiler* In some cases, the writers don't seem to have completed the first game. In Olympus, Phil said something to me along the lines of, "Maybe you could beat Hades, stranger things have happened." I was like... F* you dude, I beat the crap out of him last time.

3. So far there are none of the little disney "stand in a circle around the mark" things. Maybe they thought they shouldn't reuse that, but they've reused a good number of characters, so why not that concept? These things made for a good amount of post game content that I fear this one may not have. (*Spoiler* In KH I there were several "Super Bosses" that you could play if you unlocked special side quests.)

4. The need to use the tri-angle button so often, in order to beat the bosses. I don't know why, but it seems so far away from the attack button.

The redesign of the gummy ship fighting is great. It looks and feels a good deal more polished, and a lot less than like a sweet shop vomited on the universe.
