DanJW Posted May 5, 2006 There are rumours that The original theatrical edits of the original Star Wars trilogy are coming out on DVD (presumably remastered, but without the extended scenes and cgi inserts). Do we know about this? Do we believe it? Do we care? Are we pissed off that it's taken so much mucking about before releasing them? I might consider buying it this time if it's true. n0wak Posted May 5, 2006 They came out with the redone original trilogy DVDs and said they wouldn't release originals. They release originals. Soon, HD or Blu-Ray will catch on, and they will rerelease the original redone trilogy. After some time, they will likely release the original DVDs on HD or Blu-Ray. Who even needs those crap versions? Whee, it's nice to see that George still remembers how to make money. I will most likely buy these though, because I am weak.
