Now, let's not jump to conclusions. His head cannon may be the thing that's biased.

You all know a little too much, you need to be taken care of.

I guess I have to warm up the head cannon...

X-men: Days of JLaw hobbling

What magneto does with those train tracks was beyond ridiculous and kind of ruined the film for me.

I've just read up about the next movie (which will feature the 1970s crew) and the destruction will be even bigger! Apocalypse has power like that of a natural disaster :/ I'll catch it on tele

What's wrong with the acting apart from Doctor Who's accent?

say's the man you hasn't seen Broadchurch. It all looks a bit soulless, perhaps half of it is the cinematography, Broadchurch had really nice shots and clever use of the camera. It all looks very perfunctory and stale here. I would say go watch the broadchurch trailer on youtube but it gives away the whole series, you should just watch Broadchurch

But... but... you said it was a shot-for-shot remake!

I can't tell whether I disliked Days of Future Past because it set up a bunch of themes and then never really addressed them, leaving the ending weak and flaccid, or whether its action scenes were essentially special effects driven as opposed to action driven, or whether they never showed the iconic image of a grid of mutants that have all been killed, captured or otherwise dealt with.

So, my friend I work with is a camera man, he's made a couple of terrible horror films in the past. Bane. Anyway he goes to the Cannes film festival ever chance he's gets (wife and kids) and was lucky enough to go this year

He was randomly introduced and had a drink with the editor of the televison seties Hannibal

Some choice take aways from his meeting. Apparently an entire episode is created. Filming and editing. All in in 8 days. The shows writer stays up to 5am doing re-writes and only gives the actors the script on the day on the shoot. Then 8 days latter an edited finished episode. Also, he's told to be as flamboyant with the editing as possible which is the opposite of any other television editing job  cool

I hope you have a huge screen/projector for the introductory sequence.

I have a 150" home theater projector :)

Usually movie nights are no problem to set up, but this thing is like herding cats.  A bunch of people all want to come out, but no two people are available on the same evening next week.

I started watching Lilyhammer and thought I wouldn't care for it but I actually found the first episode really good/funny.
