If so, what did you think? I've downloaded and watched Part 1 and it looks promising.

Well, it doesn't work as a movie. You need to have played the game.

I compiled all the parts to DVD a few years ago, it works pretty well as a movie.

The quality isn't the greatest, I think I dled them all from machinima.com, don't know if they are still on there.

The guy who made it was supposed to release his own dvd with hi-res videos but I don't think it ever happened.

Anyway I enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone regardless of whether they have played it or not.

It did get a DVD release some years ago.

But a special edition double DVD was released in August last year via BitTorrent, but the original tracker is down and I can't seem to find a decent alternative with many seeds. Torrentspy has barely half a dozen, but that's it for the usual suspects.

A lot of background stuff is left out, such as what MysTek really is and does, but the movie makes a decent Readers Digest version of the game.

Not that I'm interested in arguing about this crap, but the original DVD was released years ago -- it was a special edition that got released (for free this time) in August 2006.
