N1njaSquirrel Posted October 15, 2014 OK GO's new album is on soundcloud, and it's pretty good: https://soundcloud.com/okgo/sets/hungry-ghosts Has the same sound as their previous album, which I really digged. The music video is awesome too:

Bolegium Posted October 15, 2014 I really love Mr. Oizo and cannot wait for his new album next month Nice to see he is still making music. Did anyone see any of the films he made? Rubber was ridiculous and funny.
Bjorn Posted October 15, 2014 This is screamingly NSFW (like seriously, you'll get fired unless you work somewhere super cool). But I think I have a new favorite singer-songwriter. It's nice to see someone writing about the really important things in life.

Synnah Posted October 17, 2014 Run The Jewels - Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck) [Feat. Zack de la Rocha] https://soundcloud.com/massappealrecs/close-your-eyes-and-count-to-fuck-feat-zack-de-la-rocha/s-PwPP5 This track is amazing; such a good collaboration! And as good a reason as any to link to this track from El-P's old label-mate Aesop Rock's side project, Hail Mary Mallon: I'm kind of obsessed with S.Maharba's new EP at the moment. Dirty-sounding electronica with lots of tape/vinyl noise, dreamy melodics, and echo-y sampled vocals. https://cleaningtapes.bandcamp.com/album/memorial For Someone (Abandonment) is particularly special. Max Ernst Posted October 19, 2014 The new Shellac album is out but it just inspired me to listen to Big Black a bunch so sorry Steve Albini
Golden Calf Posted October 20, 2014 New earphones and a beautiful, sunny day in Sydney today. Listened to some Within and Without album by Washed Out, Trans Canada Highway EP by Boards of Canada, some Heaven's Door Soundtrack by Plaid, and some Jesu: Pale Sketches Demixed by Pale Sketcher. Mmmmm Washed Out is so good. "Good Luck" and "Feel It All Around" by them are great. I've been binging on French Music lately: Since having played Carmen with an old orchestra, I've always loved this tune, and I found Stromae's treatment pretty cool:

Bolegium Posted October 27, 2014 Listened to dälek again after a long time of not playing them. It's so hard to pick a single track of theirs to showcase, all of them are the best. I'll just go with the first track on the first album of theirs I heard. Their other stuff is more noise / industrial / shoe-gaze / Ravi Shankar influenced. N1njaSquirrel Posted October 29, 2014 OK GO has released another music video and it's amazing: Somehow they always out-do themselves every time they release a music video, and this is no exception. The choreography alone must be insane, especially at the end. And how the hell did they do that in one shot? I assumed it was on a crane until the end. Turns out they had a setup like this: Which is even more insane, as I didn't even notice the copter detach from the roller. Madness! Also the song is really good. Their new album is really good. Also also, is it just me, or are the band members like 3 Science teachers and one cool kid?
supasheep Posted October 30, 2014 OK GO has released another music video and it's amazing: I was thinking about them the other day, I've never listened to any of their stuff other than that one with the treadmills and sort of assumed they were a one hit wonder. Guess I was clearly wrong! That video is awesome.
Twig Posted October 30, 2014 All of their videos are awesome! D:

twmac Posted November 6, 2014 Jean Grae has released another EP, this is a lot mellower than her early stuff: https://jeangrae.bandcamp.com/ What entertained me even more was the email I got: Hey guys! So, you see there that I've posted up a new EP. It's called #5. I really like doing EVERYTHING. It's my most favorite thing. Not just sticking to one type of art, or sound, or creative outlet. I kind of can't. Curse and burden, probably. Anyways, this project is something where I felt the writing would be super important. Especially dealing with things like, having the "what is this" conversation, or feeling at odds with life goals. ...and ESPECIALLY for ladies, I think it's important to have music that we can relate to. Definitely not saying this is just for the ladies at all. I don't make gender specific music. I make real life shit. This project was done in real time, like the majority of my recent releases. Which means as soon as I finish recording and mixing it, it immediately comes to you. It was made entirely by me (as stuff usually is) and is very dear to my soul, as emotional ties are all in real time as well. That may be a crazy way to release art, but it feels right for me. I get to give you raw and fresh produce on a consistent basis. It would be super cool if you would not only like, but purchase the project. It's available for streaming, but if you buy stuff, I get to make more stuff. I would then be able to make physical copies. And merch. And videos. And all those wonderful things that we all want.So we can all win together. Also, creating a demand for shows in your city, country, on your continent. So, thanks. Hope you enjoy it. Big hugs. Kisses with just a little bit of tongue, to make it awkward. I always enjoy getting these as they are delightfully unrestrained - like she wrote it when she was drunk and didn't bother to edit aftewards
