ThunderPeel2001 Posted November 17, 2008 (edited) Publisher that specialises in movie-tie games.... collapses? http://www.imdb.com/news/ni0607524/ No news on the fate of Saw: The Video game Edited November 18, 2008 by ThunderPeel2001
twmac Posted November 27, 2008 I know a few of the, now ex, Brash guys and I'm a little sad as I saw one of the projects they were worling on for next year, it actually looked pretty sweet. Jumper was abominable and Space Chimps was serviceable, it is little wonder that they ran out of money. My only hope is that the guys working on the PM side find jobs somewhere else in the industry. ThunderPeel2001 Posted November 27, 2008 Bah, you're making me guilty... Of course it's not nice that these people lost their jobs, but it IS very good to know that a movie tie-in doesn't automatically equal cash anymore... so you can't just churn anything out because it's got a film related to it, there needs to be more than that (It's a nice message to send to the money men.) Of course it might just be that they got bad licenses

I also need to stress that most of the QA guys I met from Brash can go fuck themselves. It was a select few of the team who knew they were doing a shit job but that, if the company had stayed afloat, they would have had the time to release a decent game without the constriction of shitty 6 month development schedules.
