Fair 'nuff. My schedule is currently in flux that week as I had to do some negotiating at work to get my birthday (the 19th) off. Soon as the schedule is solidified and I know what's up, I'll let you know.

I agree that there should only be one a week, but I thought that this week's double feature was a one-off thing, and that we'd stick to once a week from now on, and I figured each session should get its own name, and I... I... I'm sorry!

Wednesday this week = yes. Next week, possible. Dare I say, likely? I have an exam at 8 that morning, which would mean I'd be awake (though possibly quite groggy) and home by the time that most people would be ready for a game. There is still the possibility that I will be doing some last-minute christmas shopping with the girlfriend though, so I won't guarantee anything.

Holy Lord, that was the awesomest one yet! We were seven this time -- a new high -- and did all kinds of awesome shit like driving around in cars, shooting guns, etc.

The lot of you who haven't tried this yet -- come on!

Words cannot adequately convey the joy of using the rocket launcher to make you scream Toblix. Also, you're just as psychotic in a helicopter as a car. It's awesome

We made a quick getaway. While the cops were busy fighting with the decoy, my driver managed to get me, the boss, across town to the northern dock. Eager to get the fuck out there, I jumped into the water, got on the boat and rode off into the sunset. I went out farther and farther into the ocean and nothing was happening; my escape wasn't guaranteed. Then, my driver, whom I had ditched at the dock, informed me that I was on the wrong boat. I was already half way to Cuba at this point and thought it would be dangerous to head back to the dock. Thankfully, the driver was quick witted and took that boat himself. The two boats had a rendezvous in the middle of the ocean, I jumped over to his boat and he took mine and we made a clear getaway.

Also, driving in a Jaguar with a rocket flying just to the right of me, and outrunning it, was kinda cool.

During the free for all deathmatch someone screamed "Oh my god Toblix has a car!" just as he ran someone over

It was also very satisfying for someone to come up the ladder onto the top of the building I was camping on and start shooting at me, but not notice the grenade I'd rolled over there just before they reached the top

Yes, thoroughly stupendous use of explosives and alternative transport last night.

Personally, I like the games best when it's just with people we know--especially when LIVE craps out and only allows half the party to join a public match.

Other than that - and the initial setup frustrations early on - last night was another riotous success. Couple of new faces too, including Infovore. Really looking forward to Wednesday nights now.
