TychoCelchuuu Posted March 23, 2014 Gratifyingly, the site keeps getting linked/referenced all over the Internet: in this Quarter to Three thread and the comments section of this Giant Bomb Infamous review, for instance. Grassroots publicity!
TychoCelchuuu Posted March 23, 2014 Also if one of you posted this thread in the QT3 thread, please don't do that anymore. It's funnier if people don't know it's a joke. edit: small addition to the site, linked from the "About" page right now.
Architecture Posted March 23, 2014 I posted it on a small board without comment and the first response was, "that's stupid."
TychoCelchuuu Posted March 23, 2014 I saw that too. If you can't take helpful criticism like that in stride then you aren't going to last long on the Internet.
TychoCelchuuu Posted March 24, 2014 Stage 3 of Objective Game Reviews has been launched: the site now has a new feature, "Subjective Reviewer of the Month." Check out the first subjective reviewer of the month, Carolyn Petit.
Ben X Posted March 24, 2014 An interesting development! I assume you don't give the guest reviewers the secret objective score formula...
brkl Posted March 24, 2014 You should objectively score the interviews.
Architecture Posted March 24, 2014 You have a typo in the last graph--features should be featured.

TychoCelchuuu Posted March 25, 2014 Fixed it, thanks. I've never heard someone say "graph" to mean "paragraph."

It's pretty typical in the news industry, every newsroom I was ever around always used graph as shorthand for paragraph.
TychoCelchuuu Posted March 25, 2014 Objective Game Reviews is a review website with occasional feature articles, not a news site!
feelthedarkness Posted March 25, 2014 I think you should ask them what objective value subjective reviews provide.
prettyunsmart Posted April 4, 2014 So now that we know that Danielle Riendeau is a fan of the site (as revealed in the most recent podblast), will we see her featured as a subjective reviewer of the month in the near future?
JonCole Posted April 4, 2014 Objective error - Titanfall review Quote Guns in Titanfall do not recoil when fired. As guns are fired continuously, their bullets spread out more unless the player waits for a moment between shots. Players can be killed with between two to four bullets from many of the guns. Aiming down the sights of a gun reduces the bullet spread and slow’s the player’s movement. Titans can dash in any direction to move quickly, and each Titan has a rechargeable shield and a health bar that cannot be refilled. Kraber can give a one-shot, one-bullet kill. BUT NOW I MUST. THIS IS AMAZING. JonCole, I don't see how what I wrote is in error. Can you explain what you mean? That many of the guns kill with two to four bullets is compatible with the fact that a gun kills in one bullet.

TychoCelchuuu Posted April 6, 2014 With respect to the BioShock Infinite review, the site has been dubbed "Objectively a pile of objectively pretentious bullshit that objectively conscientiously avoids mentioning any of the stuff that people objectively enjoyed the most about this objective game. Objectively speaking." over at the illustrious "Forumopolis."

It's inside-journo lingo, babe--get on board. But seriously, it stems from doing some copy editing in college.
