Rubik had superpowers that only worked so long as he was unscrambled, but being even slightly jostled would scramble him again and it was up to those kids' weirdly specific ability to unscramble Rubik's cubes really fast to save the day. This is surprisingly progressive for a (terrible) 1980s cartoon children's show. I guess this is perhaps why the opening song is by Menudo. I have the first two episodes on VHS.
